Decisions

Updated 30 Sep 2026

Two lists. What I refuse, and what I already chose. Both are editable when the work teaches something new.

Anti-roadmap

A short list of things I will not pretend to ship. Saying no keeps Cosverse honest.

  • A model zoo with no memory

Five logos on a switcher is a demo. If the second session forgets the first, it is not a product.

  • Vanity metrics on this site

No invented user counts, no trophy accuracy scores. If a number was not published with the work, it does not appear here.

  • Surveillance dressed as craft

The helmet study stays an archive problem. I will not turn computer vision into a product that watches people by default.

  • A louder bio instead of a calmer product

Founding member is a calendar. I would rather ship the next confusing flow than write a bigger title.

  • Three bills for one thought

If someone needs several models for one task, the product should not make them keep three tabs and three invoices in their head.

Decision log

Five calls. What I did, and what I would redo.

  1. 2025

    One room, many models

Call Bet Cosverse on a single chat and bill instead of another model wrapper.

Redo I would still make the bet. I would write the empty-state and the second-session story before the marketing sentence.

  2. 2025

    Product email as product

Call Move transactional mail onto a usage-based sender and treat the copy as part of the interface.

Redo Same call. Sooner. Mail that lies about the product is worse than a missing feature.

  3. 2022

    E-Cell technical seat

Call Take the unglamorous coordination work so students could try companies early.

Redo I would still take it. I would keep a public log of what actually shipped each month.

  4. Archive

Ship the plant tool for a farmer

Call Build AI Varaksha around a photo and a person in a field, not a notebook score.

Redo Same instinct. I would put the failure case on the first screen, not in a readme.

  5. Ongoing

    Keep this site narrow

Call One column, one content file, no CMS. Edit a sentence without a hunt.

Redo I would still refuse the dashboard. I would add persistence earlier for visits and the guestbook.
